Arizona has unanimously approved a bill for blockchain and smart contracts

The U.S. steadily continues on its March towards embracing the blockchain technology, with the lower chamber of Arizona's parliament unanimously voting in favour of a bill which legitimises blockchain signatures and smart contracts. The bill, among other things, stated that:

“Smart contracts may exist in commerce. A contract relating to a transaction may not be denied legal effect, validity or enforceability solely because that contract contains a smart contract term.”
